The use of Permethrin impregnated clothing and equipment such as tents can significantly reduce the risk of insect bites and help reduce the spread of vector-borne diseases encountered in tropical regions and areas where diseases are endemic.

Hockley International supply Permethrin based products for use in treatment of uniforms, tents and bed nets. Permethrin is the active ingredient of choice as it is not a irritant to skin. Our products are used by the armed forces and public/state sectors throughout the world, many of which opt for treated clothing and equipment when deployed in areas where mosquitoes and other biting insects are a problem. Hockley also supply the commercial sector which provides Permethrin treatments for civilian clothing and equipment in the form of sprays and water/active absorption kits.
our products – “Permost”
Clean clothing, mosquito nets or tents can be treated by soaking in a solution of water and “Permost”, a Permethrin based treatment. Once the clothing has absorbed the active, it is left to dry, after this process is complete items can be used. The Permost product will remain in the clothing or equipment for a prolonged period of time helping to prevent bites from mosquitoes and other insects.
The item will not need retreating for over 10 launderings if washed in mild, none alkaline soap.

These products can be formulated and labelled to your specific requirements. Products are available in individual sachets of a size suitable to treat individual nets, or large packs for bulk treatment of clothing and equipment.
