Storage of crops following their harvest is an essential process either prior to local use at a future date, or in advance of transportation for a variety of reasons including further processing. Most crops require special storage conditions and essentially must be as clean as possible, and in good condition, before storage in order to reduce the risk of pest attack or fungal infection. A vast array of insects, mites, rodents, birds and fungal diseases can attack crops in store. These can be present at the time of crop storage or invade/develop following placement in the storage facility. Over a short period of time pests and diseases can potentially degrade a stored crop and render it less valuable to the farmer, storage facility and processor down the line.

is a broad-spectrum fumigant tablet formulation activated in the presence of water which effectively controls most stored products pests. Very highly toxic to humans and non-target wildlife, for use only by trained operators.Pirimiphos methyl 25% and 50% EC
is a fast acting insecticide suitable for use in storage facilities for the control of a wide range of flying and crawling pests. Its vapour action makes it very suitable for use in stored crops where penetration is required to kill the infecting pests. Suitable for spraying in empty facilities to control pests prior to crop storage.Permethrin + Pirimiphos methyl 7.5+40% EC
is a combination of a rapid knockdown pyrethroid insecticide with a fast vapour- acting insecticide suitable for use in storage facilities for the control of a wide range of flying and crawling pests. Its long residual action makes it very suitable for spraying in empty facilities to control pests prior to crop storage. This product is also available in ratio 1.5% Permethrin + 8% Pirimphos-Methyl.
